National Trust Ecofund Joins EUKI Regional Networking Event in Bucharest

On April 11, 2025, National Trust Ecofund took part in the EUKI Regional Networking Event for Southeast Europe, held in Bucharest under the theme “Collaborating for a Greener Future: Decarbonisation in SEE.”

The event was officially opened by H.E. Dr. Peer Gebauer, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Romania, and H.E. Radko Vlaykov, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Romania, who both emphasized the importance of regional cooperation in tackling climate change and promoting sustainable development.

Bringing together key stakeholders, climate leaders, and regional actors, the event focused on strengthening collaboration in the decarbonisation process across Southeast Europe.

The National Trust Ecofund led a thematic session titled “Regional and Local Initiatives as Role Models for National Progress,” showcasing successful examples of climate action at the municipal and community level that inspire national policy and drive tangible progress.

We are proud to contribute to this meaningful exchange and to collaborate with regional partners in building a more sustainable and climate-resilient future.
