NTEF participated in the partner conference of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) in Berlin

The Director of the Executive Bureau of NTEF Maria Minkova and senior expert Kamelia Georgieva participated in the 2024 conference of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) held in Berlin.
NTEF has already implemented several projects within the framework of this initiative, financed by the Federal Government of the Republic of Germany and currently has a leading role in the implementation of a project that develops and tests in three pilot municipalities a model of municipal energy manager services. The other project partners are from Romania and Germany. In parallel, we are a partner of a project that works with schools in the municipalities of Yambol and Dobrich and supports them in their role as leaders to achieve climate neutrality in their municipalities.

During the meeting, NTEF representatives took part in discussions on the most pressing issues of digital transformation and innovation in climate action, industrial decarbonisation, Europe 2040 climate targets and the future of energy transition.

As always, this conference was also about meeting many friends and colleagues, creating new partnerships and generating many new ideas for cooperation.
