This year, the conference was held on June 8, 2023, with the main theme “The Future of Energy”. It took place in three consecutive panel sessions. The first was dedicated to energy communities as a solution to overcome energy poverty. The second focused on Business Innovation in Fair Transition and the third was dedicated to Youth Engagement in Climate Initiatives.
Representatives of the EUKI Program from Berlin took part in the conference. The head of the embassy’s press office gave a greeting on behalf of the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Bulgaria in Sofia.
The participants from the NTEF presented the implemented and ongoing projects with the support of EUKI during the session scheduled for discussing all initiatives. Special emphasis was placed on the ongoing projects – to create a model of “energy manager” services in municipalities, as well as the project to work with municipalities and schools to achieve carbon neutrality in schools by 2045.
The participants of NTEF also took an active part in the discussions on the main topics.
