On February 11, 2025, a consultative meeting on the development of energy management services in Bulgarian municipalities was held at the building of the Sustainable Energy Development Agency in Sofia.
The discussion topics included the necessity of energy management in municipalities and the steps toward institutionalizing the “Energy Manager” service.
Participants included representatives from the Ministry of Energy, the Sustainable Energy Development Agency (SEDA), Sofia Municipality, the pilot municipalities in Bulgaria — Ruse and Sapareva Banya — as well as MENERGERS project partners NTEF and SOFENA.
The conclusions from the discussion will be presented at the project’s final conference on March 27, 2025, at Hotel Forum in Sofia.
