Following Decision № 175 by the Council of Ministers from March 29th 2017, The Bulgarian Government has approved the Agreement for transfer of Annual emissions allocations – AEAs between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Malta. It postulates the proceeds from the agreement be directed to the National Trust Eco Fund (NTEF) and used for climate change adaptation and mitigation measures, approved by the Board of Directors of the Fund.
