On March 27, 2023 in Yambol and on March 29, 2023 in Dobrich, the implementation of the activities under the Vision 2045 project began.
In both cities, meetings were first held between representatives of NTEF, the municipality and the school management, and then with the teachers from the respective schools participating in the project.
At the meetings, the project was presented and the specific next actions for its implementation were discussed.

The Vision 2045 project is funded by the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) of the German Federal Government and aims to bring together the efforts of schools and municipal administrations to attract the efforts of all stakeholders (service and energy providers, public administrations, merchants, media, etc.) to create and experimentally implement an innovative model for achieving climate neutrality at the local level.
The lead partner is the Independent Institute for the Environment (UfU) in Berlin. Partners, in addition to NTEF, are the Association of Municipalities “Energy Cities” (Energy Cities) in Krakow, Poland and the Regional Energy Agency of Savinska, Šaleshka and Koroška Regions, Slovenia. The project is being implemented for 30 months, starting from November 2022.
